Service Description: Municipal department in charge of preventing and fighting fires for emergency management and response. Full time and on call firefighters are responsible for the maintenance and care of the fire vehicles and equipment.

Services available:
  • inspections of commercial or residential properties (by request)
  • investigation of fire scenes and complaints as required
  • Fire Safety Education program

Operates 5 Fire Stations - note that there is no admin staff at these stations except for Headquarters, Station 2:

  • Station 2 - 1214 20 Sideroad (Lefroy)
  • Station 3 - 2394 Victoria St (Stroud)
  • Station 4 - 23 King St N (Cookstown)
