Service Description:
|
Primary care for pregnancy, sexual health, and postpartum.
Pregnancy services:- routine prenatal care (ultrasounds, lab work, assessment and counselling)
- care during labour and birth, includes pain management
- birth at home or hospital - Georgian Bay General Hospital in Midland or Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital
- postpartum care for 6 weeks (includes home visits and support with feeding)
Extended clinic services:
- STI testing, counselling, and sexual health education
- family planning (birth control counselling and prescription)
- care for early pregnancy complications
- postpartum care for breastfeeding support * not necessary to have midwifery care to access clinic services

Fees:

Covered by OHIP * free to residents of Ontario; financial assistance is also available to cover costs for labwork and hospital fees for those without OHIP
