Service Description: Program facilitating speech and language assessment and treatment services to infants and preschool children through a variety of models.

Services available:
  • intervention based education
  • parent coaching
  • direct and mediator therapy
  • consultation
  • service provided in most appropriate location, e.g. daycare, family home, hospital clinic or other location as appropriate
  • public awareness, prevention and early identification activities 
  • 6 service locations with RVH as the lead agency

Fees: Set fees for some materials supporting the program
Application:
  • Referrals accepted from families, physicians and childcare providers
  • Intake through Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre
  • intake worker gathers basic information and mails a background information package for the child's family to fill out
Eligibility / Target Population: Children 4 years and younger * Preschool children must be referred before school entry
