Nonprofit organization operates two shelters in Muskoka for abused women:
Muskoka Interval House (MIH) in Bracebridge and Chrysalis in Huntsville
Services available:- safe, short-term shelter
- 24-hour phone support/ 24-hour staffing
- child and youth programming
- outreach support
- support groups
- assistance with navigating the legal system
- accompaniment and advocacy
- safety planning
- risk assessment
- practical needs assistance
