Service Description:

Crisis intervention service provides immediate assistance to people experiencing psychiatric distress * aims to defuse the crisis, ensure the person's safety, and assist the person with taking steps to resolve the problem
Services available:- psychiatric and medical evaluations
- risk assessment
- counselling (one to six sessions)

Referral by a physician, Simcoe County Crisis Line, or by the Emergency Room of Georgian Bay General Hospital

People with a mental health issue or in acute psychiatric crisis
