COVID-19 Outbreak Declared Over On CGMH's Medical Unit

In collaboration with the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit (SMDHU) the COVID-19 outbreak that was declared on Collingwood General & Marine Hospital's (CGMH) Medical unit on April 11, 2022, has now been declared over with no further positive patient or employee cases confirmed.

The Medical unit is now reopened for essential visitors, as part of phase 2a of the Designated Visitor Policy.

CGMH is tremendously appreciative of all employees and credentialed staff for their dedication and continued efforts during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, all while they continue to provide outstanding care to CGMH patients and the South Georgian Bay community.
