* Hypertension Workshop- (July 19 9am-11:30am) Wasaga Beach (SGBCHC) Boardroom

* DASH diet Workshop- (Thurs. Aug. 23 and Thurs. Nov. 15 from 9am-11am). How can this diet help to lower your blood pressure and cholesterol? Find out how with this educational workshop on eating well.

* Diabetes Groups- Type 2 –(Sept 6 and 13th and Nov. 1 and 8 from 9-12pm) Wasaga Beach (SGBCHC) Boardroom

* Pre- Diabetes Groups- (October 4 and Nov. 29 2012 from 9am-12pm) Wasaga Beach (SGBCHC) Boardroom

* Living a Healthy Life with Chronic Conditions 6-week program- Ongoing. Please also let us know if you are interested in becoming a peer leader for this group. Training is 4 days and free. Please contact Christine @ 705-791-6209

* Building Balance – Falls Prevention Program (6-weeks). Ongoing throughout the year at Wasaga Beach YMCA held Mon/Wed 1:30pm-3pm. Please talk to your family doctor to refer you to this program.

* Fitness for Health (6 week program) - Ongoing throughout the year held Mon/Wed from 2-4pm at the Wasaga Beach YMCA . Call Shannon or Pauline for more details or to register 705- 422-1888
